Irene J. Mueller Obituary
Of Germantown, surrounded by family, Irene went home to heaven on August 25, 2023, at the age of 105 years. Irene was born in Milwaukee on August 17, 1918, a daughter of Harriet Smolarek. She married the love of her life, Richard Mueller on February 14, 1942. Together they raised two children. Irene took great care of her family and her home. She was known for her excellent cooking and baking skills. Her love of crocheting, crafting, and shopping (especially at the dollar store) kept her moving. Irene had a big heart and was always there if anyone needed a helping hand. Spending time with her family and friends creating memories is time she always cherished.
Irene will be dearly missed by her children, Shirley (Raul) Aguilar, William (Nancy) Mueller; grandchildren, David (Michelle) Aguilar, Alan (Susan) Aguilar, Michael (Kari) Aguilar, Wanona (Paul) Schroud, William Mueller, Daniel Mueller, Rebecca (Ryan) Alfke; great-grandchildren, Noah, Bailey, Maddie, Julianne, Sheridan, Nicholas, Addison, Corinne, Autumn, Brynn, Mackenzie, Xaiver, Alexus, Olivia, William, Kayne, and Wolf. Irene is further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy, and Esther; and grandson, Steven.
The visitation for Irene will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 10AM until 11:15AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM, at St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, 1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI 53033.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
