Gordon D. Bengtson Obituary

Of Germantown, 84 years old, born in Menominee MI, died Christmas Day, December 25, 2021. Beloved husband for 55 years of Judy (Barber). Best dad ever to Kristine and Andrew and much loved daughter-in-law Tricia. Proud grandpa of Drew, Angela and Brooke, his godchild. Brother of the late Thomas (Marilyn), survived by dear sister and friend Judith (the late Carl) Wamser, and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Frances.

Corky met Judy when they both worked at the Pabst Brewing Company from where he retired after 34 years. He enjoyed his job at Pabst, often saying he wouldn't have wanted to work anywhere else. Until the past several years his absolute favorite weekends were spent "up north" deer hunting with his son Andy. He always looked forward to Sundays cheering for the Green Bay Packers. Corky deeply loved his family which included his many dogs during his lifetime. If his picture looks familiar, you might have noticed him walking the Mayfair Mall for the past 23 years (before Covid).

To honor his wishes no memorial service will be held. He instead hoped you'd enjoy this holiday season with family and loved ones. We've lost a kind and loving husband and father.
