Denise M. Bohringer Obituary
Of Germantown, passed to eternal life on June 3, 2024, at the age of 71.
Loving wife of Joel Bohringer; loving mother of Danelle (David) Coulter and Bradley (Fiancée Tracy Fitch) Bohringer; stepmom of Tamara (Dave) Burns, Daniel Bohringer, and Joseph Bohringer; sister of Dean (Cherie) Diorio and Dana Diorio; devoted daughter, and dear friend to many. Denise is further survived by step grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. A phrase that Denise had written down on her personal reminder list was: "Who's day can I make better?". Those who knew her would not be surprised by this at all, as looking out for others was at the very essence of who she was. Denise had a heart of gold, a quick wit and great sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking and baking for others, and had a fondness for solving all sorts of puzzles. She was also very creative, with a flair for art and decorating. She loved being outside in nature. Vacationing at a National Park or visiting a waterfall were some of her favorite adventures. Denise graduated from Mt. Mary College with a teaching degree, and also achieved an accounting degree from MATC. She went on to thrive in the accounting field at various positions, including 22 years as bookkeeper for the City of New Berlin. In retirement, she enjoyed yoga and other exercise classes at the YMCA, where she made many wonderful friends. Denise was also a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. More than anything, Denise always put family first. She enjoyed 50 years of marriage to Joel, and was the most caring and supportive mother that there could be. She was a blessing to all, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
The visitation for Denise will be on Friday June 7, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls, from 9:30AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Inurnment will immediately follow the mass at St. Anthony Cemetery in Menomonee Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Relevant Radio or Arbor Day Foundation are appreciated.
