She is survived by: her sons, Peter Romano (Shelley), Frank Romano (Rebecca) and Eric Romano (Helen); her grandchildren, Reagan Romano, Rocco Romano, Harry Toomer-Romano and Amanda Garley; and her siblings, Burchard Koester (Elsa), Hajo Koester (Rosemarie), Otto Koester (Lynn), Anne Bandow (Tom) and Margaret Cook (David). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
