Alice H. Wilegus Obituary
Of Germantown (nee Neu). Born to Eternal Life on January 12, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 87 years old. Beloved wife for 67 years to Donny. Loving mother of Margaret (John) Runnells, Gerald Wilegus, Barbara Knuese, Ruth (the late Jim) Hytinen and Carol (David) Klein. Loving grandmother of Justin (Ruth) Runnells, Nathan (Peng Zhang) Runnells, Peter and Philip Klein. Sister of Joanne Peterson, Janet, Rosemary, Lavern and Harvey Neu. Sister-in- law of Frankie Mahaffey, John Wilegus and Dorothy Parrish. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Roman and Matilda Neu, her parents-in-law T. Frank and Eunice Wilegus, her siblings, Helen Kreuser, Robert Neu, Evelyn Adams and sister-in-Iaw Betty Edwards.
Alice and Donny were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls on June 29, 1957. Alice's favorite job in life was being a mom.
Alice was a life long member of St. Boniface. She prayed the Rosary daily as a commitment to her faith. She loved bowling, tennis, baking, cards, golf and more golf. She was a member and officer with the State of Wisconsin Women's Golf League with three holes in one!
Our family would like to thank caregivers Sonja, Lisa and Nara for their loving care and compassion given to Mom. Also, we would like to extend our appreciation to Horizon Home Care & Hospice. The final days were met with compassion and comfort from all their staff.
Visitation on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204 N11940 Goldendale Road in Germantown from 10 AM until time of the Memorial Mass at 12 Noon.
