He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oldenburg and Fern Oldenburg (Allen); his sister Audrey Parr (Gaylerd); his mother-in-law Doris Juen Larson (Lyle); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Ames, Nancy Juen and Ken Lemke.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Juen; his children, Dawn Bahr (Ron) and Gary Oldenburg, II (Kate Carr); his granddaughters, Katelyn and Holly Bahr; his siblings, Roger Oldenburg (Dorothy) and Mary Lynn Cohn; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Juen and Marjorie Lemke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Genoa Fire Department.
