He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Torstenson and Ella Torstenson (Boyle); his son Robert; and his sister Thelma McKitrick. He is survived by: his wife Sally A. Shepherd; his children, Carl (DeeDee), Jane Bodi (Jon), Jim, Jill Page (Jeff), Holly McNamara (Pat), Eric and Anna Lee; and his daughter-in-law Marlene. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
