He was predeceased by: his mother Kay Freitag (Koske). He is survived by: his father Frank E. Freitag; his daughter Rachael Freitag; his former wife Colleen Freitag; and his friends, Rick Koehn and Michael Hanke.

Services were held privately. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date, once the COVID-19 Pandemic shelter in place order has been lifted.
