He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moos and Dorothy Moos (Denn); and his brother James Moos. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McGowan; his children, Michael Moos (Bonnie) and Lisa Moos; his grandchildren, Ashley Higgins and Cody Keller; his great grandchild Nevaeh Parker; his brothers, Jeffrey Moos (Patti) and Jack Moos (Sherri); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Moos and Ian Craig McGowan (Sheri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
