He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Raha and Barbara Raha (Wardle); his parents-in-law, Adolph and Anna Fortney (Lee); his sister Patricia; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Fortney, Robert Fortney, Butch Collins and Gene McManamy.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his children, Carmen Raha (Mike O'Keefe) and Craig Raha (Deb); his grandson Carl Oppert (Becca); his great grandchildren, Finnley and Rowan Oppert; his brother Wally Raha (Betty); and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Collins and Marilyn McManamy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Ocooch Mountain EMS or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gays Mills.
