He is survived by: his wife Judy Hynes of Gays Mills; his child Shawn Hynes of Dubuque, Iowa.; his grandsons, Ryan Smith and Dakota Smith; his great grandchild Lenyx Smith; his siblings, Thomas Hynes (Sharon) of Madison, Velma Steger of Dickyville, Betty Buss and Marie McChesney; and also, Charlie and Emma Bannen.
