He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Johnson and Anna Johnson (Hansen); and his siblings, Alvin Q. Johnson, Reuben Johnson and Nona Bartlebaugh (Bert).
He is survived by: his former wife Helen of Hixton; and his children, Vernon Lee Johnson (Nancy) of Gilman, Emily Filla (Anthony) of Whitehall, David Johnson (Joan) and June Johnson of Taylor. He is also survived by six grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
