She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmer Larson and Ida Larson (Lebakken); her husband Stanley Ekern; and her siblings, Marian, Arlene and La Vonne.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven, Daniel (Susie), David (Lois) and Samuel; her grandchildren, Mary, Heidi, Trygve and Emily; and her brother James Larson (Kay).
