It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmalene Irene Nelson of Galesville, Wisconsin, born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Nelson and Esther Nelson (Hanson); her sons, Justin Bawek and Jeffery Bawek; and her sister Evelyn Cook.
She is survived by: her former spouse Glen Bawek; her children, Margo Bautch (Scott) of Wausau, WI, Rebecca Ankrum (Ted) of Ham Lake, MN, Craig Bawek (Lynnelle) of Arcadia, WI, Bradley Bawek (Lori) of Lake Elmo, MN and David Bawek (Dena) of Spring Valley, WI; her daughter-in-law Carol Bawek of Arcadia, WI; and her sister Ernestine Hyland.
