He was predeceased by: his wife Dorie; his sister Charlotte; and his grandson Matthew Foote. He is survived by: his children, Richard Foote (Mary), Danny Foote (Lynda) and Linda Foote; his siblings, Irene Edwards and Robert Foote (Monique); his grandchildren, Jeff Springer (Holly), Greg Springer (Sarabjet), Melanie Landro (Damon), Emily Foote (Adam), Richard Foote Jr. and Tracy Da Costa (Carl); and his great grandchildren, Corinne, Trent, Madeline, Joseph, Norah, John, Hunter, Dylan, Iris, Evan, Jade, Abby, Marlee and Jack. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Elevator Fund or Sugar Creek Bible Camp in Ferryville, WI.
