She was predeceased by: her sister Annette Vogelsang of Grand Rapids, MI; her sister-in-law Len Kroes; her sisters, Kay Tharp and Betty Westcott; her siblings-in-law, Delbert Young, Doris De Young and Marlene Smedema; her niece Mary Niemi; her nephews, Dave Kroes and Peter De Young; and also Estelline Kroes.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Hahn (Jeff) of Cambria, Paula Alsum (Larry) of Friesland, Amy Boersma (Carl), West Des and Brad De Young (Martha) of Friesland; and her siblings-in-law, Betty De Young of Randolph and Jim Smedema of Gilbert, AZ. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
