He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Hoffman and Elsie Hoffman (Alsum); and his parents-in-law, Auke Douma (Evelyn), Gerrit Douma (Margie), Dorothy Schaalma (John), Theresa Posthuma (Carl), Clarence Douma and Bob Lemmenes.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Douma; his daughters, Marilyn Oosterwyk (Bernie) of Randolph, Cindy Van Beek (Cal) of Randolph and Linda Kok (Steve) of Randolph; his grandchildren, Eric Oosterwyk (Rebecca), Dan Oosterwyk, Barry Van Beek (Niki), Amy Jo Reed (Scott), Troy Van Beek (Jennie), Alison Van Ee (Nate), Staci Campbell (Nick), Jaimie Kok and Kristen Steiger (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Graeme, Liana, Reese, Tessa, Annika, Vince, Caleb, Emily, Claire, Gwen, Vera, Harris, Truman, Kana, Kai, Kody, Logan, Everly, Cole, Hazel and Isaac; his siblings, Ron Hoffman (Harriet), Cora Hemp (Brian) and Joann Alsum (Marvin); and his parents-in-law, Shirley Douma, Bessie DeJager (Lambert), Andy Douma (Tessie) and Harvey Douma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
