He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeYoung and Marion DeYoung (Tillema). He is survived by: his wife Betty DeYoung; his children, Dan DeYoung (Maxine), Kristine Berger (Rick) and Kalleen Katze (DeYoung); and his sister Jane Wendricks (DeYoung) of Madison. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
