He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Froehlich and Bertha Froehlich (Kowald); his wife Lois Schave; his siblings, Norm Froehlich and Audrey Rupnow (William); his siblings-in-law, Darryl Jacobson, Lyle Schave, Ray Hamilton and Virginia Deakin (George); and his daughter-in-law Debra Froehlich.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Pierce (John), Diane Vander Galien (Paul), James Froehlich (Chris Berger) and Donald J. Froehlich (Marsha); his grandchildren, Katie (Ryan), Val (RJ), Elizabeth (Paul), David (Sarah), Aaron, Matt (Molly) and Justin (Nikki); his stepgrandchildren, Vincent (Rachel), Katie (Tim), Isaac (Hillary), Fred Tracy (Stephanie), Jeff and Karen (Sam); his great grandchildren, Jameson, Averie, Hannah, Solomon, Evelyn, Brantley, Lindsey, Abigail and Everett; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Seth, Sam, Megan, Jon, William, Tristen, Aurora, Ellie, Christopher, Samantha, Liana (Matt) and Jacob; his great great grandchild Brynlee; his sister Marion Jacobson; his sisters-in-law, Emily Froehlich, Donna Schraepfer (Herb) and Laurie Hamilton; and his niece Deborah Rupnow. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
