It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudette LaRaine Sawyer of Friendship, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 28, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Strand (Happy) and Mildred Strand; her significant other Tom; her sister Wanda Strand; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Boersma and Robert Sawyer.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Sawyer (Chris), Coy Sawyer (Mary), Lance Sawyer (Amy) and Jay Sawyer (Misty); her grandchildren, Scott Sawyer, Brett Sawyer (Becky), Jacob Sawyer, Talitha Groshek (Nate), Josiah Sawyer (Rebekah), Moriah Keller (Ethan), Sara Skiff (Zane), Chad Sawyer, Ashlee Sawyer, Chantz Sawyer, Olivia Rogers (Kolt), Haley Kuehl (Spencer), Matthew Sawyer, Courtney Sawyer, Jerrica Pierce, Jaina Pierce and Jaryn Sawyer; her great grandchildren, Millie Sawyer, Peyton, Landon, Piper, Lukas Groshek, Elsie, Laura Sawyer, Thomas, Carolyn, Abigail Keller, Brielle, Tenley, Paisley Cammack, Declan Kolstad, Ryla Kuehl, Goku Sawyer, Aidyn, Alaina Schneider and Lilith McCartney; her sister Sharon Boersma; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Sawyer (Rose) and Dorothy Sawyer.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (243 N Linden St, Adams, WI 53910). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
