He is survived by: his son Donald Thurber (Clara Amartey); his grandchildren, Jenna Billingsly (Matthew), Stephanie Thurber and Tommy Thurber (Payton); his great grandchildren, Simon and Henry; his siblings, Richard Thurber, Michael Thurber, David Thurber (Paula), Robert Thurber (Sandy), Linda Ciuplinski, Dianne Peterson (Gordy), Rose Kiefer (Joe), JoAnn Winters (Rick) and Mary Butzer (Russel); and his siblings-in-law, Tony Stanton and Netty Thurber.
