He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jacob and Veronica Jacob (Glander); his siblings, Robert, Fred McCrory, Shirley Whitman and Beverly Peterson (Jack); and his brother-in-law Blaine Claypool.
He is survived by: his wife April Jacob (Lorenz); his sons, Shane Jacob (Wendy), Greg Jacob, Michael Hammer (Carrie) and Brett Hammer (Darcie); his sisters, Alice Claypool and Jean Willer; and his siblings-in-law, Barb McCrory, Judy VanDyke, Sally Alix (Merle), Julie Holcomb, Linda Lorenz and Ed Whitman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
