He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Koehler and Elsie Koehler; his wife Liz (Bowling Lanes); and his siblings, Verona Wohlt (Robert), Ardyce DeBruin (Lee), Loraine Holcombe (Leslie) and Leroy Koehler (Geneva).
He is survived by: his children, Keith Koehler (Zofia) of Lexington, VA and Kristine Knight (John) of Cary, NC; his grandchildren, Katherine (Sonnet), Alexander (Jennifer), Gregory Koehler (Casey) and Elizabeth Greene (Andy); his great grandchildren, Naomi and Merritt Greene; and his brother Werner Koehler (Jeanine) of Appleton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
