He was predeceased by: his former wife Wanda Nelson; and his grandparents, Bill, Zelma Schindel, Anker, Adella Rudie and Mildred Rudie.

He is survived by: his parents, Richard Rudie and Janice Rudie (Schindel); his wife Gail Braun; his daughters, Heather Rudie and Alyssa Green (Mike); his grandson Killian Green; his stepson Marlin Jed Braun; and his parents-in-law, Bill and June Kirby. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
