He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Mike" Vandenberg and Lorraine Vandenberg (Gonnering); his daughter Patricia; his granddaughter Faith Ann Peters; his parents-in-law, Gerald and Johanna "Sis" Geenen; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Geenen (Patricia), Lyle Swinkles and Judy Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Geenen; his children, Mike Vandenberg (Char), Kellie Peters (Kelly) and Kristie Bock (Michael); his grandsons, Elliot Wyro and Alex Wyro (Emily); his great grandchild Rayleigh; his grandchildren, Carli Peters, Cassandra Vandenlangenberg (Kevin), Kennedy Peters, Brady Bock and Caden Bock; and his siblings, Vionne Greiner (Beaver), Lois Colson (Bob), Darlene Swinkles, Pat Geenen (Patty), Rose Beyer and Kemo Baptist Stevens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
