She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd DeBruin; her husband David "Cal" Murphy; her mother-in-law Gladys Murphy (Hock); her brother Harry DeBruin (LaVerne); and her siblings-in-law, Vonny DeBruin, Marty and Jeff Murphy.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Murphy (Jennifer) and Jeffrey Murphy; her grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Dylan, Jadin, Corbin, Leland and Kaia; her great grandchild Kingsley; her siblings, Helen Meidam (Ron), Barb Diedrick (Mike), Gloria Calaway (Ralph), John DeBruin (Diana), Elaine Fleishman (Gary), Roger DeBruin and Jerry DeBruin (Linda); and her brothers-in-law, Pat Murphy, Gary Murphy (Janice), Brian Murphy (Rachel) and Scott Murphy (Jane). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
