She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Smith and Ella Smith (Murphy); her siblings, Genevieve Ziegler (Carl), Valeria Huss (Cliff), Gerald Smith (Dorothy), Eunice Romenesko (Robert) and E. Michael Smith; her fathers-in-law, James Kavanaugh (Dorothy), Nick Kavanaugh (Marion), Jack Kavanaugh (Jane), Bill Kavanaugh (Eleanor) and Gerald Mauthe; her close friend Karen Elrick; and also, John and Anna Kavanaugh (Dorsey).
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Vandenberg (Ken), Mike Kavanaugh (Lynn), Jan Kortz (Mark), Karen Brice (Jim) and Annette Jadin (Greg); her grandchildren, Shanna Zahn (Mike), Shane Vandenberg (Brandy), Greg Kavanaugh (Tiffany), Stephanie Linsmeyer (Dave), Bailey Starks (Devon), Taylor Drews, Chad Kortz (Heather), Ryan Kortz (Joanna), Marissa, Tyler Kortz, Michael Brice (Jess Sadlowsky), Nick Brice (Morgan Cerio), Nate Brice (Britt Horn), Lucas Jadin (Katie), Logan Jadin and Levi Jadin (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Quin Zahn, Preston, Kaden, Blake Vandenberg, Brady Manteuffel (Chloe), Bennett, Sydney Kavanaugh, Carsen, Dawson Linsmeyer, Peyton Starks, Leo Kortz, Calleigh Kortz, Drew and Nellie Jadin; her sisters-in-law, Mary Mauthe (Kavanaugh) and Donna Smith; her significant other Mike; and also Debbie Schuh.
