He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ehlert and Beverly Ehlert; his father-in-law John Collen; and his brother-in-law Jeff Collen. He is survived by: his wife Robin Ehlert (Collen); his children, Fayr, Nicholas Ehlert, Brooke (Austin), Laszewski, Benjamin (Jocelyn), Elliott (Courtney), Eli (Cristy), Jeremy (Carmen), John (Terra), Joseph (Liz Pritzl), Ashley (Brian) and Monfils; his siblings, David Ehlert (Susie), Susan Harris (Mark), Lisa Escoto (Lou) and James Ehlert (Sean Reilly); his nieces and nephews, Maria Stephens, Christopher Harris, Mandy Shrubb and Chessa Manion; and his mother-in-law Patricia Collen.
