He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Weins and Eileen Weins (Geurts); his in-laws, Don and Marie Reader; his brothers, Dennis, Mark and Michael Weins; and his brother-in-law Don (Char Reader).

He is survived by: his wife Judith "Jude"; his daughters, Angela Vosters (Kevin) and Kari Haupt (Craig); his grandchildren, Luke, Ashlyn, Lauren Vosters, Griffen and Lily Haupt; and his siblings-in-law, Laurie Bowers (Mike), Jim Reader (Peggy), Gary Reader (Kathy) and Diane Weins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church (W2037 County Rd S, Freedom, WI 54130). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
