She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Green and Harriet Green (Schumacher); her husband James "Jim" Van Hoof; her grandson Aaron Gerdmann; her brother Earl Green; and her parents-in-law, Bob Woldt, Bob Van Hoof (Irene), Jane Witter (Amil) and Shirley Evers (Orv).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Van Hoof (Dawn Christensen), Sue Geiger (Mark), Pat Van Hoof (Chris), Ed Van Hoof (Stacey Hennessey), Lynn Gerdmann (Chris), Mark Van Hoof (Melissa) and Jill Smith (Kevin); her sisters, Elaine Bowers (Dan), Joyce Golden (Jim) and Donna Woldt; and her parents-in-law, Bernie Green and Gary Van Hoof (Sue). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Janet's name to benefit Dementia and Parkinson organizations.
