He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rickert and Edna Rickert (Green); his siblings, Marge Springstroh and Gary Rickert; his parents-in-law, Norbert and Florence Gonnering; and his brothers-in-law, Robert and Tom Gonnering.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Rickert; his children, Robert Rickert (Jodi), Lisa Rickert and Kristine Rickert; his grandchildren, Justin Rickert (Hilary) and Cassi Miramontes; his great grandchildren, Lydia and Sophia; his siblings, Joan Semrow (Ron), Pat (Mary), Bill (Katie), Dan (Joy), Kathy Schiedermayer (Marv), Mike (Jill) and Cindy Ballweg (Mike); and his parents-in-law, Ron Springstroh, Ron Gonnering and Marilyn Gonnering. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
It took a pandemic to end his 68 year streak of not missing a home game.
