He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Lanke and Helen Lanke; his wife JoAnn Rathbun; his brother Allen Lanke; his siblings-in-law, Mitz Lanke and Jerry Pillard; and his nephew Todd Pillard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Casper (Wayne) of Fredonia and Jackie Schuettpelz (Kevin) of Kaukauna, WI; his grandchildren, Amanda Casper and Noah Schuettpelz (Carolyn Lehman); his great grandchild Caden Casper; his close friend Geri Jacoby; his sister Carol Pillard; and also, Rhonda, Keith and Curt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Richard E. Lanke of Fredonia, age 84 went home to his Lord on Friday, September 11, 2020 unexpectedly after a 14-day battle with the Covid-19 virus at Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon.
