He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Paulus and Clara Kultgen Paulus; and his brother Alois Paulus. He is survived by: his former wife Teresa Leitheiser; his wife Marie Knepprath of Fredonia; his children, Jennifer McBride (Tim) of Port Washington, Michael Paulus (Stephanie) of Sheboygan, Kathryn Paulus of Oshkosh, Emily Paulus of Minneapolis and Philip Paulus of Fredonia; his grandchildren, Kendra McBride, Mikayla McBride and Evelyn Paulus; and his siblings, Pauline Franzen (late Henry), Peter (late Carol), Raymond (Sheila), Daniel (Jane), Steve (Karen), Tim (Barbara), Wayne (Barbara) and Perry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
