He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerald Gaedtke and Hazel Kiepert Gaedtke; his son Joshua; his siblings, Nancy Brown (late Tom), Geraldine Losik (late Dick) and Harlan; and his father-in-law Eddie Cwiklinski.

He is survived by: his wife Joanie Cwiklinski; his son Dustin; his sisters, Joanne Morgan (late Robert) of South Milwaukee and Susie Cataldo (Jerry) of Sturgeon Bay; and his mother-in-law Lucy Cwiklinski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association of America are greatly appreciated.
