He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Edith; his wife Carol Ann Carlson; and his siblings, Raymond, Dorothy Perry and Joyce Schoening.
He is survived by: his sibling Disc; his children, Meat, Bruce Schoening (Kellie), Judi Hanson and Karl Schoening (Kim); his grandchildren, Christopher Hanson, Elin Krause and Nataly Schoening; his great grandchildren, Mya, Matthew and Danielle; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Schoening and Richard Perry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
