He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kochnowicz and Dolores Wianecki (Kowalski); his stepfather Edward Wianecki; and his sister Jane Brantmier. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Kochnowicz (Petra), Mary Vezzetti (Ben) and Steven Kochnowicz; his sister Susan Bolte (Rich); and his grandchildren, Vincent, Isla, Vivian, Isaac, Nicole and Alyssa.
