It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilfred J. Richard of Franklin, Wisconsin, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Richard and Esther Richard; and also, Arthur and LaVine Tigges. He is survived by: his wife Betty Tigges Richard; his children, Brian Richard (Jessica) and Sarah VanSaun (Brian); and his brothers, David (JoAnne Tigges), Richard Tigges, Dan (Mary Melesurgo) and Larry (Anne Heithoff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Upon retirement, Bill enjoyed traveling with Betty throughout the United States, wintering first in Phoenix, Az and later in Panama City Beach, Fl until Covid and declining heath curtailed his travels.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Loras College Endowment Fund or to a charity of your choice.
