He was predeceased by: his wife Carol. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Barbara Thierfelder (late Ronald) and Terry Newton (late Nancy); his nieces and nephews, Dean Thierfelder (Sheila), Jan Thierfelder, Dan Newton and Jeff Newton (Brenda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ben, Jenna, Melainie and Morgan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel (8910 W Drexel Ave, Franklin, WI 53132). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Greendale, appreciated.
