He was predeceased by: his daughter Rosalind (Herden); his wife Donna; his parents, Francis and Pauline (Metzger); his stepmother Alice; and his siblings, Earl, Gerald (Janice), Verna (Lloyd), MaryEllen (Andrew), Marjorie, Evelyn and Elmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Zettel and Deanna Birling (Douglas); his grandson Tim Alvarez (Erica); and his sister-in-law Aleatha. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home (10210 W Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53227). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Matthias Church (9306 Beloit Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53227).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Children's Hospital Foundation or AccentCare Hospice appreciated.
