He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Mangin and Olive Mangin (Kiel); his son Donald Paul; his daughter-in-law Sandy Lee Mangin; his siblings, LaVerne Hennessey (Kenneth), Daniel Mangin (Margaret), Darryl Mangin, Gale Mangin and Roger Mangin; his brother-in-law Donald Rohan; his godson Patrick Mangin; his parents-in-law, Peter and Hattie Smits; and his in-laws, Harold Smits, Roland Smits (Gen), Ervin Heim, Merlin Smits, Henry Heezen, Roger Smits and Edward Smits (Lynn).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Smits of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Patti Rathsack (Jim), David Mangin (Bev), William "Bill" Mangin, Norbert Mangin (late Sandy), Theresa "Tess" Ketelsen (Eric), Rosemarie "Rea" Orzechowski (Dan), Sandy Murphy (John) and Virginia "Ginny" Monfils (Jason); his grandchildren, Patrick Rathsack (Ashley), Bridget Rathsack, Nicole Stehula (Shane), Joshua Mangin (Alyssa), Michelle Klotz (Maverick), Rachel Keifenheim (Eli), Luke Mangin (Aly Durham), Brandon Mangin (Jenny), Lauren Sanor (Bryce), Kieran Ketelsen (Katie Erkau), Natalie Ketelsen, Anne Orzechowski-Scannell (Seamus), Karen Orzechowski (Jackson Carney), Eric Orzechowski (Catherine), Grace Orzechowski, Sarah Orzechowski, John Murphy, Clara Murphy, Jack Monfils and Hazel Monfils; his great grandchildren, Myla, Levi, Ashton, Bryer, Henry, Lucy, Adeline, Isabelle, Lillian, Joseph, Theodore, Cathrine, Charlotte, Cullen, Blake, Corbin, Caroline, Everett, Becket, Langston, Jameson, Zoe, Riley, Marie and Casimir; his sister Marlene Rohan; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Mangin, Alice Mangin, Florence Heim, Laverne Heezen, Junella Smits, Rita Smits and Hazel Smits. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
