He is survived by: his mother Lynne Borts; his brother Todd Borts (Joan); his niece Kristina Cheever (Andy); his nephew Joshua Borts; his uncle Rick Borts; his cousin Gwen Hoppe; and his son Brandon Borts (Dyan). He is also survived by his family, friends.

His contributions to the company were significant and lasting, leaving an indelible mark on those he worked with.
