He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Nyren; his sister Lois Kiefer; and his parents, Walter Nyren and Mae Nyren. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Long (Peter), Sheila Nyren, Charisse Broeker (Mike), Charlotte Fairburn and Charles W. Nyren (Allison); his grandchildren, Landon Nyren (Kristin), Michael James Broeker (Lisa), Cara Chiu (Steve), Michele Broeker (Jessica) and Alexis Nyren; and his sister Marilyn Grandy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., Parkinsons Foundation or the Dementia Society of America in his name would be appreciated.
