Therese Ann Witt Obituary
Therese "Terry" (nee Nell) Ann Witt was called to the warmth of the Heavenly sun on February 6, 2025, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of 42 years of the late David Witt, proud mother of Danielle (Nick), Jessica (Bryan), and Kristin (Mike), and adoring Nana to Sawyer, Quinn, Paxton, Harper, Everett, Colton, Blake and Luella.
Terry enriched her life with time spent with her family, friends, neighbors, and her devoted love of her dogs Roxy, Addie, and Morgan.
Terry will be remembered for her fondness of the little things in life. She had a life-long passion for cooking, baking, and the Food Network channel. She loved to read and valued education, earning herself business and teaching degrees. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Terry loved jewelry, she loved animals, she loved holidays. She favored crunchy cookies, peach water from Walmart, and a good Bloody Mary. Terry appreciated a good conversation, early morning workouts, re-decorating her house, and a hot pot of coffee. She was the one everyone went to to have a pair of pants hemmed, to sew a hole in a piece of clothing, or to make new curtains. Everyone could count on her to make dozens of different kinds of cookies each Christmas, and always looked forward to the new recipes she would try. Terry favored the hot sun while lying next to her pool with her family splashing around in the pool and her favorite song, "Til You Can't", playing in the background. Above all else, Terry loved her family more than anything and was incredibly proud of the life they shared.
She is survived by her brother Bill (Lynn) and her sisters Jean, Debby, and Barb (Mark), along with her nieces, nephews, neighbors, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother (Diane), her father (William), and husband (Dave).
Words can't describe how much she'll be missed and how much she meant to her family and others. She inspired trust, demonstrated honesty, and displayed courage, being a cancer survivor. She, like Dave, was one strong Nana.
