He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Polan; his brother Burton Polansky; his sister-in-law Joan Glick (Larry); and his pets, Troubles, Troubles II and Troubles III.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Polan (Cari), Elissa Polan (Jim Koretz) and Heather Berken; his grandchildren, Hannah Pachefsky (Andy), Jacob Polan and Taylor Gardner (Josh); and his pet Troubles IV. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
