Lizabeth M. Ludowissi Obituary
Nee Moroder), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Friday, March 17, 2023. Liz was born to Geraldine and Anthony Moroder on June 10, 1957. Liz graduated from Dominican High School and went on to work at A.B. Data for 40 years, retiring in 2020 from her role as Vice President of Production. While working at A.B. Data, she met her dear husband David, whom she married in 1984.
Liz enjoyed gardening, spending time at the lake, and cooking. While she had a gift for sarcasm and word games, Liz had a rather challenging time locating her glasses and phone, especially when it was time to leave the house. Her true passion was her family. Liz had a unique gift for reaching out to each family member and making them feel loved and special. She loved hosting her large, extended family for events such as Thanksgiving and March Madness. She was honored to be the godmother of seven nieces, nephews, and friends.
Nothing brought Liz more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, Maddie Moroder, Jonah Ludowissi, and Marcus Ludowissi. Liz cherished every moment with them and created special relationships with each of them individually. She considered herself so fortunate to spend one day a week with Marcus. Marcus and Grandma loved looking at the deer in Grandma's yard together. Liz loved her weekends up north with Jonah. She enjoyed the memories they created together, like making smores and going out on the boat. And Liz loved watching Maddie grow up, from attending soccer games to cheering on Maddie's academic accomplishments, Liz was so proud of her granddaughter.
Liz will be missed greatly by her husband, fishing guide and best friend David, her sons Bryant Moroder (Diane) and Timothy Ludowissi (Melissa), her grandchildren, her siblings Marc Moroder (Sue), Anthony Moroder Jr. (late Peggy), Christine Schmidt (Paul), Christopher Moroder (Joanie), Paul Moroder (Pam), Mary Moroder (Jim), Gerard Moroder (Marie), and Greg Moroder (Katy). She is also survived by her beloved siblings-in-law Karen Jasper (Joe), Kathy Wolfe (Michael), Jim Ludowissi, and Tom Ludowissi (April) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
