It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine A. Zarse (Fox Point, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her sibling Nadene Kramer (late David); her nieces and nephews, Dean Kramer (Jennifer) and Lisa Strebel (Nee Kramer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Deborah, Benjamin, Daniel, Rebekah Kramer, Abbygail and Jacob Strebel; and her close friend Donna Kramer. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

“Mrs. Zarse (elaine) will forever be remembered for her high standards in pattern making and sewing. She was my favorite teacher who eventually became a friend. Her teaching did not stop after graduation. She always made herself available to help with any project questions her former students had. “Mrs. Zarse was how she introduced herself in the patternmaking class at Mount Mary. She was a wonderful teacher and I thank her often for all she taught me. As we progressed through the years of study, we also progressed in friendship. After graduation, periodic summer luncheons deepened our relationship. Soon she became Elaine my friend. Janet, Darinka, Becky & fellow teacher Mary were all so appreciative of Elaine. She lives on in our hearts always. From the Lunch Bunch”
