He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Claus (Fass); his sister Lois; his brother-in-law Robert Fisher; and his parents, Curt Claus and Florence Claus.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Curt (Emily Thornton), Nicholas Schoob, Blake and Connor Claus (Anna Baumgartner); his great grandchild Sydney; his nephew David Fisher (Suzanne); and his niece Amy Fisher Moore (Nicholas Moore).
