He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Lubar; his brother Sidney Lubar; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Kahn (Roxanne) and Helen Friend (William). He is survived by: his sons, David Lubar (Sara) and Robert Lubar (Jan); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Rebecca and Elle Lubar. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
