He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Paulsen and Mary Paulsen (Wyderka); his son Eric; his wife Pauline Voight; and his brother James "Jimmy" Paulsen.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Fiene (Michael) of Mesa, AZ, Carl Paulsen (Karen) of Fox Lake, Michelle "Shelly" Eagle-Spirit (Eddie) of Orlando, FL, Heidi Paitrick (Paul) of Fox Lake and Amy Freriks (Jeff) of Waupun; his grandchildren, Colette Butterbrodt (Nate), Tyler Dolgner (Heather Nehls), Cody Dolgner, Nicole McBrien (Michael), Emily Paitrick (Tyler Schauer), Hunter Eaglespirit and Kendra Kienast; his great grandchild Lennon Butterbrodt; his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Rasmussen (Kenny), Courtney Rose (Don), Brittany Kastenschmidt (Makena), Larissa Freriks, Chandler Freriks and Serena Freriks (Daniel Garcia); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hailey, Maddie, Gage, Gavin and Greyson; his sister Carol Scheder (James "Doc") of Beaver Dam; his sisters-in-law, Diane Paulsen of San Antonio, TX and Ann Albrecht (Fred) of Elm Grove; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
