He is survived by: his spouse Stacy; his daughter Sarah Akin (Zach); his grandchildren, Eliana, Riley, Nathan and Bradley; his siblings, Cindy Gudahl (John) and Steve Akin (Brenda); and his caregiver Mike. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
